Our 8th mini-soccer tournament came to another successful end. The sun shone, apart from the last afternoon, as it usually does.Guest of Honour was the Lord Mayor of Manchester, who presented the club with our Community Charter Standard Plaque.
Two fabulous days, which saw great sportsmanship form all teams made this a weekend to remember. There was much drama, with numerous penalty shoot-outs in the knockout stages.
Our own Under 13s won their competition and there was a fantastic fun game as our under 6s played against Walshaw Park.
A big thanks to all those who took part and to the band of Moston Brook volunteers for making it happen. We have much to be proud of.
Our girls teams are now in pre-season training. We will be running teams at Under 10, Under 11 and Under 12 next season. They will play in the North Manchester Girls League. All gameswill take place at Chapel Road, Hollinwood on Saturday mornings
Training sessions are held at Ten Acres Lane, Newton Heath on Friday nights between 5.30 and 7.00
