Another superb performance by Moston Brook today, even though 'yet again' we only had 11 men. Some great pass and run techniques throughout the first half allowed Darius Photiou to open the score sheet with fantastic rocket shot from the edge of the box. Kallum Partington scored a superb header a few minutes later from a Darius corner kick. Moston carried on dominating and it wasn't long before Darius went on one of his famous runs and scored another. Just before the half time whistle Reece Flynn struck a low ball from the box and found the left hand corner of the net. Making the half time score 4 v 0.
Moston were still on fire in the second half and it wasn't long before Reece got his 2nd of the day from a well placed pass from Kyle Hark. Within minutes Reece bagged his 3rd after collecting the rebound off the post from an Andrew Bowker shot . Darius almost immediately decided that Reece wasn't the only one achieving a hat trick today and headed his 3rd home from a Partington free kick. With 10 minutes to go Reece was brought down in the box, which resulted in a penalty being awarded. Bury's goalkeeper who had an excellent game today despite the score, made 2 tremendous saves, first the penalty, then the rebound shot both taken by Cale Orman. In the last minute Craig Mckay delivered a fabulous cross into the box, which Niall Rafferty superbly headed home, bringing the final score to 8 v 0.
Well Done!! Moston for another tremendous win today we are very proud of you. Every single one of you deserve applauding on your performance and your conduct throughout today's game.
