Moston Brook AFC

Brook winning streak came to an abrupt end today going down 3-0 in this one sided derby. Brook were the better team in the first 10 minutes going close on a couple of occasions. But once they started loosing their shape and discipline the writing was on the wall.

The opener for the impressive Moston Juniors came around the ten minute mark as their forwards waltzed through the Brook defence and blasted home into the top corner. The remainder of the first half saw Brook concede again as they lost their focus on the game.

The second half was a bit better with Brook having a good ten minutes and going close on a couple of occasions. But credit were credit is due Juniors were far superior and in the final stages they scored their third with a wonderful passing movement that Brook had no answer for.

Final score 3-0 with man of the match going to the ever reliable Egan for a true captains performance. Juniors manager elected Thomas for his man of the match in the middle of the park.
