A really lacklustre display by Brook ended their winning streak as they were out worked and out classed by a much improved AFC Clayton at Ten acres on Saturday. Brook started brightly enough but always looked like getting caught on the break; Brook took the lead ten minutes in against the run of play with Tom Jackson scoring with a superb solo effort. Clayton responded with a barrage of shots that Domanic Field did well to keep out and take them in at the break one nil up. In the second half Clayton laid siege to the Brook net and the equaliser came as Brook failed to come to terms with Claytons dominance. No sooner had the game restarted Brook found themselves two one down as they were caught on the break as they tried to find a way back into the game. The third and final goal came two minutes from the time to wrap up a well deserved 3-1 for Clayton Man of the match went to Field for another outstanding display between the sticks and Jackson was awarded man of the match by the Clayton manager for his hard work and fine goal.
