Sorry for the brief report again guys but again I wrote the report on the day and this one didn't reach it's destination either. I think there may be some cheeky kind of gremlin on the net nicking my reports. Anyway I do remember that the weather wasn't too good, the gusty wind was very strong and made life on the pitch quite difficult for all players. However the game was very even stevens between the two sides in the first half and it was end to end football for the whole 30 minutes, which ended 1 v 1. Brook's goal being scored by Reece Flynn.
Things were different in the second half  though as the game totally changed. Things began to get a little heated as some of the Colts players began kicking out and challenging with some dirty tackles. At least four of the Brook players were injured during this half as a result and the fouls that Colts committed were for some reason overlooked by the referee. Jack Keightley for Brook scored 10 minutes into the second half, which gave the team a bit of a lift, although this didn't last long as the Brook players were becoming frustrated at the leniency of the referee. Reece, Andrew and Jack were all playing on through injury, Darius had to come off after a very bad tackle, which could have been much more serious. Unfortunately Brook couldn't hold Colt's off any longer and they scored the equaliser in the 57th minute. Ending the game a draw at 2 v 2.
Well Brook, it certainly wasn't anywhere near your best performance but you did your best considering the circumstances during the game and the bad weather conditions. Well done!!! and Good on Darius for getting MOTM again, you gave it everything today!!!!.
