A crushing defeat this week for Brook against Moston Juniors A as they went down 4-1 in a lacklustre displayBrook started like a house on fire taking all the things they had learned in training into a game were they were expected to take a hiding. Slick passing and neat one twos put Jackson through, and his slinky dribbling and ferocious shot put Brook one nil up. What followed was hard to stomach, the passing stopped and Brook were put to the sword by a well organised Juniors team that cut through Book like a knife through butter. Time and time again Brook surrendered possession and were punished each time going in at the interval 4-1 down. The second half wasn’t much better other than Brook stemmed the flow and at the end of the game didn’t concede any more. Full time 4-1 and Brook need to learn quick lesson, when you play in the big boy’s back yard nothing more than 100% effort and commitment will get you results and that was badly missing today.Man of the match went to Jackson from the opposition manager and Brooks for a never say die attitude
