A rip roaring match with all the twists and turns that went with it saw Brook edged out of this one.

The game started  to say the surface was covered in standing water, both teams were quick to get there passing games going and it wasn't long before Thomas found Jackson but his shot was well smothered by the Dynamo keeper. Two corners on the trot put in by Gaffney caused chaos in the Dynamo defence but when the ball was cleared to Egan his   shot was just wide

Brook didn't have the opening stages all to themselves Field saved well on the edge of the area to stop the advancing Dynamo forward. Straight from that Hammett reacted smartly to snuff out the their second attempt.  Again Dynamos pressed but Egan and Hammett stood tall at the back. The opener looked on the cards but a heroic block from Field at the feet of the advancing forward saw the end to his day as he was taken of with a head injury.

With Gaffney taking the gloves he was soon in the thick of things dropping smartly to save a Dynamos shot, straight from his kick out Jackson found Thomas he put through a pin point pass to Burke and with his first touch of the game buried low into the bottom corner to take Brook in one nil up at the break.

The second half saw Brook play some of the best football they have ever played, Jackson was instrumental in playing out from the back and Egan and Thomas played some great passes up to Burke.

Willis was introduced and he was soon in the thick of things blocking well to deny the offensive Dynamos attack. Dynamos were awarded a penalty seven minutes in and with Gaffney beaten the ball came back out from the inside of the post.

Everything except the kitchen sink was being thrown at Brook now but with Brook playing the passing game out they always looked like they could score on the break.

From a long ball out Brook were out numbered at the back and a classy finish saw Dynamos get a worthy equaliser.

Brook responded well with as they played out of the back, Egan found Thomas out wide he played a neat ball through to Jackson who went on a mazy run and was cruelly upended were the referee deemed it to be outside the box. Jackson fired in the shot but his effort was deflected wide.

The final minutes saw Brook  denied a point with the game evenly poised Dynamos hit a long ball over the top a fantastic strike saw Gaffney pull off a fine save to his right but the Dynamos forward pounced to slam home the rebound.

Final score 1-2 but the quality of the football by both sides was breathtaking in this game and hats off to both sides for their commitment and will to win as well as the skill level involved.

Jackson was awarded man of the match by the Dynamos management for his solid performance, whilst Thomas edged it for the Brook management for his pin point passing and top drawer attitude
