Brook got what they deserved this Saturday against Chadderton Park A and sadly that was nothing, Brook huffed and puffed but never got there passing game going in a game that was there for the taking. The first five minutes saw Brook play there best football of the game as they dominated early on. A great finish by Burke ten minutes on saw Brook take the lead but from then on it was all downhill. Player’s lack of discipline in keeping position and general work rate led to an equaliser in the dying embers of the half, as they went in at the break all square. The second half was a totally disjointed affair as Brook rang the changes, and if it wasn’t for Field between the sticks Brook would have gone behind earlier than they did. That goal came seven minutes from the end in a defensive mix up that allowed the Park forward a free shot on goal in acres of room, he made no mistake finishing well to give Park a well deserved victory.Man of the match went to Hammett from Brooks’s management whilst the Parks management opted for Field as theirs
