Today would be another stern test against excellent opposition, Brook started the brighter of the two teams, and Brook pressed Wythenshawe back into their own half creating a number of excellent chances before Joe Mallia finally put Brook 1-0 with a curling 25 yard shot which the keeper could only get his fingertips to.
For twenty minutes Wythenshawe could not get out of their own half until they broke away and equalised against the run of play.
Every time Wythenshawe broke they scored giving them a 4-1 half team lead.
To Wythenshawe’s credit their passing and movement of the ball was excellent thus giving them a further two goals making it 6-1 full time score.
We had a number of excellent chances in the second half but need to show more composure in front of goals
We need to do the above which we are constantly working on in training pass and look to receive the ball and changing the angles of attack where it becomes natural.
This is an excellent competitive league which I am sure we will learn a lot and improve throughout the season.
