Today we was faced with a local derby against Moston Juniors, the nature of the game was not played in a sporting manner & indeed strict league guidelines were broke by the opposition. Moston juniors went into a 3-0 half time lead without Moston Brook creating any note worthy chances. Second half was better by Moston Brook creating some clear cut chances, Josh Carroll missed a header from two yards into an open net heading it over the cross bar. Liam Howard rounded the keeper but was faced with a tight angle and his shot rebounded of the base of the post, we eventually scored through Robert Barber who was making his debut he fired home from 8 yards out. Moston Juniors made the final score 4-1 and finished deserved winners, we need to be aware we are here for children’s footballs enjoyment, whenever the spectators or managers are talked about it is wrong and the conduct needs to be looked at.
